September is known to be the statistical peak of hurricane season. As we saw with the devastating 2017 Atlantic Hurricane Season, it is crucial to be prepared for the unexpected. If you have not already, now is the time to stock up on all your hurricane supplies. If you wait until the last minute to purchase supplies when a hurricane is approaching, some essential items may not be available. Here are some items you should have in your hurricane supply kit:

  • Tools and Supplies:

    • Paper cups, plates, and plastic utensils
    • Battery-operated radio
