From the sweets, treats, costumes and fun, Halloween is an exciting time for children and parents alike. To ensure a fun and safe Halloween night, Edison Insurance Company would like to share some "bright" Halloween safety tips.
- Decorate costumes and treat bags with reflective tape. If possible, wear bright colored costumes to be visible to drivers.
- Continue to light up your Halloween night by using flashlights and glow sticks while "trick- or- treating".
- Turn on your homes outside lights to be sure visitors and "trick-or- treaters" are able to see clearly after dark.
- Avoid a fire by lighting your jack-o-lanterns with battery-operated candles or flashlights.
